Official confessions: Arabs are seriously discriminated in Iran
PADMAZ- During an official event, Mohsen Haidari the Ahwaz representative in the Council of “Experts” of supreme leader in Iran has confessed that Arabs are seriously discriminated in Ahwaz by Iranian authorities.
In this regard, Haidari has confessed: There is unacceptable level of discrimination against Arabs in Ahwaz. Though Arabs constitute the majority of the population in The province ( Ahwaz), they hold less than 5% of the local management positions. In job interviews, when the interviewers check the identity card of the Arab applicant and realize that the person is Arab they reject them. Young Arabs started to change their names to hide their Arab identity in order to get hired.
These Iranian official confessions reflect the regime concerns of the increase of discontent among Arab citizens and a raise of opposition inclinations among Ahwazi people.
