Radio Zamaneh’s security accusations against Ahwazi Arab people

In the days when the Arab nation of Ahwaz has continuous uprisings against the Iranian regime and the wounds of the regime of oppression and discrimination, of the central government of Iran, on the body of this nation are increasing every day more than previous; Radio Zamaneh, another centralist media opposition, has taken a strange step in repeating and emphasizing the Islamic Republic’s false accusations against the Arab nation of Ahwaz. These targeted accusations by Radio Zamana are not only against the Arab civil movement in Ahwaz, but also target a large part of the residents of the city of Ahwaz, in Kut Abdullah.

In a biased move, Radio Zamaneh conducted an interview with an unknown Ahwazi activist, and in the midst of this person’s speech, this radio broadcast its biased claims against the Ahwazi Arab nation and marked, tens of thousands of residents of the Kut Abdullah district of Ahwaz, with the mostly used accusations by the Islamic Republic of Iran.

In this so called interview, Radio Zamaneh forgot the basic right of human beings to choose their opinion and considered the Saudi influence among the Ahwazi people as the main reason for the change of opinion among these people. The so-called centralist Iranian opposition media has also accused the residents of Kut Abdullah district in Ahwaz of promoting Wahhabism in Ahwaz.

The two major accusations of Zamaneh against the Arab nation of Ahwaz are: the accusation of Saudi mercenaries and the accusation of Wahhabism and religious extremism. These two charges are in fact security charges on the basis of which the Islamic Republic of Iran has sentenced thousands of Ahwazi activists to long prison periods or executed them in the last two decades.

This action of the radio was a purposeful action in order to take revenge on the civil movement of the Arab nation of Ahwaz, which has no other result than justifying the repression, executions and assassinations carried out by the Islamic Republic of Iran against the Arab nation of Ahwaz.

The question now is how the European countries that finance this so-called opposition media may accept these actions of Radio Zamaneh in collaboration with the assassination apparatus of the Islamic Republic of Iran. This act of Radio Zamana in using information as a tool to achieve a political result at the expense of the life of innocent Ahwazi people is no different from ISIS use of information to shed human blood.

It is up to the Ahwazi activists to collect sufficient evidence against this radio and other Persian-language media such as the BBC Persian and Radio Farda, etc., to document the dangerous actions of these media that justify and normalize the shedding of the blood of the innocent Ahwazi people. This shall be taken to the United Nations and human rights organizations and to the Western countries that provide financial support for these media and file a formal complaint against them.

Undoubtedly, the countries that support these so-called Persian-language media share responsibility of the dangerous consequences of the activities of these media and are responsible for the bloodshed of the Arab people of Ahwaz, and the media they support should be warned of such dangerous actions.
