No drinking water in Ahwazi villages

PADMAZ- Tens of Ahwazi villages are suffering from serious lack of drinking water during this summer.

Clips spread on social media disclose total lack of drinking water where inhabitants of Ahwazi villages are forced to drink dirty remains of dried rivers.

Since 1985 the Iranian regime has established more than 100 dams and tunnels for diverting water of Ahwazi rivers to the central provinces of Persia Plateau.

Hundreds of Ahwazi villages have been facing serious lack of drinking water and total forbid of agriculture, during the last 15 years.

Thousands of Ahwazi families have been forced to abandon their villages due to the Iranian hydro-security policies.

Ahwazi people have demonstrated in several occasions in protest to the Iranian policies which are the reason behind total drying of Karoun, Karkheh and Jarrahi rivers.
