The brutal murder of an Ahwazi man under torture in front of his son
PADMAZ- An Ahwaz man was killed in front of his son under the brutal torture of Iran’s security agents.
According to Ahwazi Human Rights activists, an Ahwaz young man named Abdullah Batrani, who was detained by security agents with his son on Sunday, May, 23, 2021, was killed after two days of brutal torture.
According to the report, Abdullah Barati, 37, Hamid’s son, is married and has two children. He is a resident of Alawi district in Ahwaz.
Abdullah was arrested on Sunday, May 23rd, along with his son on Azadi St. Al-Thawra(Alawi) district by two security vehicles.
CCTV cameras near the detention center were collected by security forces after Abdullah Batrani was killed, to clear the traces of the crime.
Reliable sources say Abdullah Batrani and his son were arrested by police and security forces. He was severely tortured in front of his son (minor) for two days in detention. Abdullah’s son is still terrified and shocked by his father’s torture in front of his eyes.
After two days of torture Abdullah Batrani was killed and taken to forensic medicine.
According to credible sources, the forensic doctor told the Batrani family that the cause of death was a brain stroke after Abdullah Batrani was hit in the head with a hard object. From the images obtained, the effects of torture on Abdullah’s body can be clearly seen.
The Batrani family has filed a lawsuit against those who tortured Abdullah.
The Batrani family has been threatened by security forces with arrest if they speak to the media.
According to sources, Abdullah Batrani, was arrested, torture and murdered of the police office No.17 in Ahwaz, for failing to pay a bribe. According to reports, the reason for the arrest of the 37-year-old Abdullah Batrani, is that he refused to pay a bribe to the police officers.
