Public Statement Issued by Coordinating Council of the Ahwazi Organizations

The Ahwazi political parties reaffirm their shared commitment to the just struggle of the Ahwazi nation for freedom, dignity, and the right to self-determination, as well as their belief in solidarity with all oppressed peoples under the rule of the Iranian regime.
At this critical stage, and in light of the profound political and social developments unfolding in Iran, we believe it is important to clearly restate our principled position regarding the period when the murderous Mullah regime falls. The Ahwazi national movement is committed to responsible political engagement and to cooperation based on mutual respect among nations and peoples, with the aim of ensuring a just, orderly, and peaceful transition and preventing chaos, violence, and bloodshed.
In recognition of the gravity of the current moment, Ahwazi political organisations have taken concrete and responsible steps to strengthen coordination and unity among themselves by launching the Coordinating Council of the Ahwazi Organizations, understanding that collective action is essential to protect the rights of our people and to confront the challenges ahead. These efforts are grounded in cooperation with other oppressed nations and democratic forces, in pursuit of ending tyranny and laying the foundations for a future based on justice and equality.
We reaffirm our firm commitment to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and to all relevant international human rights and humanitarian conventions. Our struggle remains rooted in respect for human dignity and the free will of peoples to determine their own future.
The Ahwazi nation has played an active and visible role in major protests and waves of social unrest across Iran, including the most recent protests, during which many Ahwazis were killed and large numbers were arrested by the regime’s security forces while peacefully demanding freedom and fundamental rights.
The undersigned parties remain open to dialogue and engagement with relevant international actors and institutions, and are prepared to clearly and responsibly explain their positions and vision for the future whenever appropriate.
